This shows that Brutus is confused about killing Caesar. He thinks that Caesar will be tyrannical when he gets what he wants. So with this he decides that Caesar should die, for the good of Rome. Thu D o c u m e n t S u m m a r y I n f o r m a t i o n 8 ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ

Chivalry is dead. No one today practices chivalry. Most guys think that chivalry is immature. Girls seem like they don"t care if guys are chivalrous. Sometimes guys can be polite, but for the most part they just feel like doing a good deed. That is not chivalry. Chivalry was about a way of life, not a spontaneous act of courteousy. ¤Ð/¥à=¦ § ¨ © ª

Merlin also knew that Gryflet would be killed if he used his sword in battle. He told Arthur to let Gryflet fight his enemy but to joust instead of using his sword. Gryflet was almost killed and was sent back to Arthur seriously wounded. Merlin"s influence on Arthur caused Arthur to be a great king. If Arthur had not had Merlin , he would have made many mistakes. Thus, Merlin had great power over Arthur.

The Moral of Jenny"s Story

Jenny had just graduated. She was starting at her new job. She was always good with numbers. In high school, Jenny made the honor roll all four of her years. Her college major was accounting. She wanted to work for an accounting firm in L.A. or New York. Jenny thought that she was going to make a lot of money. During the past summer she had interned with a well-known firm in New York. Jenny had receivednown to the people. They never had a chance to escape them. If they went to sleep, they did not know if they would wake up. Archbishop Romero began to support the poor people"s position. This was unacceptable because he was an upper class member. He could not support from any of his fellow bishops. At another worship service, Romero`s friend, a priest, was shot and killed. This upset Romero greatly. He finally won the support of the other bishops. However, he did not stop the death squads. The military was occupying a church where Romero had worshipped. He went to the church to take it back, and was very successful. While celebrating mass one day, Romero was killed by a shooter who sneaked into the church. This action alerted people to what was happening in El Salvador. The purpose of the movie was to make people aware of the situation. I learned that we need to be aware of our governments actions. They represent us. We need to make sure they do not think they are above us. People should vote if they are eligible, and stand up for human rights.

Mama`s Strengths

In the play, A Raisin in the Sun, a character named Mama has many strengths. She recognizes a generation gap, is the disciplinarian of the family, notices the problems of Ruth, and has her own dreams. The reader notices the generation gap because Mama states that "There is something between us." When a character named Beneatha is disrespectful, Mama is quick to remind her who is the boss. She makes Beneatha say "

"In my mothers house there is still God". Mama also notices that Ruth, her daughter - in-law, is pregnant. This is important because no one else seems to care. She wants to buy a house with a garden. All of these things make Mama a strong person, who keeps her family together.

Things Fall Apart.

One myth of the Ibo people was that night was considered bad or evil. However, the people believed that it was okay to go out at night; if there was a full moon. Another myth was that the oracle of agbala was a powerful force in peoples lives. They also believed that there were obanje. Obanje were evil babies that would die when they`re mother gave birth to them. They would die each time she had another baby.

In Things Fall Aart, is depicted in many ways. One such way is, during the wresling matches. During these matches, people would chear for the best wreslers of the village. Chauvanism is shown with a character named Okonkwo. Almost everything he does is based on his belief that men are better than women. Okonkwo tells his son stories about war and bloodshed, rather than stories of wisdom. He also uses his chauvanismm as an excuse for some of the bad things he does. Okonkwo beats his wife, is never emotional, and wrestles. The fear of foreigners is evident in Things Fall Apart. . This is shown in the form of a white lepper . The people do not understand other cultures; so they think that all whites are leppers. This, in turn, leads to a fear of what is unknown about foreiners. Hospitality is important to the Ibo tribe. They use it in all greetings. Okonkwo takes things to another man`s house when he goes to talk to him.

. When Ikemiefuna is killed, Okonkwo goes along with the group that kills him. Ike was Okonkwo`s son. Okonkwo does not know if he should go or not. At the last minute he decides to go. This is one of Okonkwo`s major problems. He knows the choice he is making is wrong, but chooses to do it anyway. He does this to show that he ! Q · Q ¸ P » Q ‚! od h h a phone call by the time she returned home to Virginia. It was from her new boss. She had gotten the job. Once she hung up the phone, she began to call her family and friends. They all went out to celebrate. The next week Jenny, with the help of her family, moved to New York. So today was her first day. Jenny finished her first day early. She left and was on her way home when she made a fatal mistake. She went through a red light. Jenny was hit by a car and died. The moral is: Don"t be so proud of yourself that you forget common sense. ¤Ð/¥à=¦ § ¨ © ª

I try not to judge people when I first meet them. This enables me to get to know them for whomever they truly are.

When someone I know is having a bad day, I try to help him/her through whatever is bothering him/her.
